Fms has been putting money into mxr for a while now, money that was raised to drill the hamersley project, not prop up a struggling sister comany.
The total is over $3,000,000.00
They converted out of the money options.
As I have said before, without fms, mxr would have died long ago.
Maybe all this inter-company share ownership is a way to fight off a takeover! I could just imagine a hostile bid by someone like Xstrata LOL.. Oh but hang on, what would they get, a mud hole that is supposed to have some gold in it but 9 months and many millions later and all they have achieved is emptying the bank account.
Plus a uranium deposit @ 180 ppm, hhmmmmm, not much call for those type of figures in the real world.
Sorry but there is no denying it, inter company relationships are not good. Except to breath some life into an otherwise insolvent company so that the directors can take another bite of the sausage rolls at the agm.
