PNR would seem to have no motivation to press for MXR to ramp up its drilling and assay reporting at this time. Such would risk a consequent boost to the MXR share price and obviate PNR's current prospects of being able to devour the remainder of MXR at prevailing bargain basement prices.

Once PNR's new mine nearby is sorted out and operating, it can then focus its attention on acquiring the rest of MXR before any anticipated finds of significance are made. This, of course, is speculation, but seems pretty logical. Hopefully, the MXR Board will adopt a robust view towards boosting the current speed of progress and flow of news, regardless of how contented any of its shareholders may be with the current pace.
