    Yes, I would agree on that though on my "how many would I buy now if I had none?" logic I have enogh in the portfolio & am just happy to be back to midway between fear & greed on this one! By the way, I enjoy your insights into the world of Hybrids & Bonds. I've been topping up on GNSPA,DXRPA & FCLPA recently as those companies seem to be getting out of their respective holes, and picked up some TTXPA in the mid 70s yesterday after the Hastings announcement that they intend to redeem. Even the boring (& boring is great in this market!)low margin bank prefs are looking interesting on a YTM basis.One obviously needs a strong stomach for the market gyrations and must try to look beyond (or take advantage of) the prices set by a few desperate or spooked vendors who insist on selling their overcoats in a heatwave! The problem is to try to sort them out from the abundant inside traders who seem to abandon ship in advance of any public bad news these days.
    Value not price, as I was always taught.
