I have purchased some of these myself today. Returns look a bit too good to be true. As you observed MAFCA, MPF and MUE have been decimated.Brookfield -multiplex has approx 2.7 billion funds under management in these listed and also unlisted trusts of which approx 20% (500 mill) are their own money. I dont know how they are showing this in their accounts as nta or as actual share values.If we were to write of all the value of these it would reduce the total equity in brookfield -multiplex from 4.4 billion to 3.9 billion.
