I dont think on-market buy back will occur as this will be seen as bad form by the major insto holders. Lets face it, brookfield is well capitalised and has shown its support for multiplex in the past.
Also, the recently ASX-listed Brookfield bonds are another sign that brookfield has confidence in the Australia market.
This is how it expect things to play out...
next 1-2 months: sp $50-65 on no news
around dec: sp $65-75 on major refinancing completion
march 2010: annnouncement of redemption
In between - I expect divs to be paid as per normal tho payment rate will increase in-line with interest rates being raised by 25 basis points in Nov
