Good point, first responders are being looked at more and more to start treatments early. I think there is a core cooling study underway by first responders for post cardiac arrest brain protection.
The market for a drug like this may be applicable to all post injury (traumatic, ischemic -stroke -cardiac,) brain injury.
Early days but there will be alot of interest in the results of the current trials.
The preclinical data looks very promising.
