I do agree that big or small firms take advantage of their workers through longer hours. My ex was communications and marketing manager for qantas a few years ago and even when we went travelling to europe for 1 month she still had to take her projects with her. But i dont agree that big firms are worse than small firm. I find bigger firms actually offer better condition. Example was my friend who works for Workday now. She now earns over 160k a year, has extra weeks off a year, travel bonuses, gets paid to upgrade her knowledge anywhere in thw world and many other perks. The other smaller software company she worked for she didnt even get business class travel paid for and earned 100k. Big firms have more to ffer because they have more money to throw around.
