TLS has only ever had one strategy which is to be a monopolistic bully boy who makes the rules and doesn't have to play by them. Their large shareholder base has meant the government has often had to bend over for them for risk of losing votes but now even their shareholders are tiring of this negative attitude. The drop in share price won't help - there will be little sympathy for them and not many votes lost for putting them in their place.
If they lose their grip on the areas in which they have a monopoly they are doomed. They may have to try being nice for a change.
