Hi Dex, my mum of 92 has just passed and still lived in her own home by herself and had the same thoughts as your mum about the ABC.

That generation believed in honesty across the board and believed in man and woman, also found it difficult to understand why people were going down this path and why her favorite TV station was embracing all this wokeism as well.
