From recent Chinese news, low grade thermal coals are pilled up and producers, especially private and small players, are heavily in red. Hundreds of private mines are closed in inner mongolia, because there is simply no buyer.
High grade coal producers in the same region are still ok for the moment because it is apparently a different market.
