If you are based in the UK here is a good alternative to Xero.
Clearbooks https://www.clearbooks.co.uk/
They are a much smaller company, but the software is very good and they're cheaper than Xero.
I was annoyed that Xero recently increased their prices by 10% (in the UK) but not enough to switch over..... so they have an extra 10% of my coin! But if they get greedy and do this again anytime soon I'll be off, as there are numerous good alternatives available.
