Good post but I particularly liked the last paragraph regarding 2012.
There is NOT a person on our Planet anyway that can accurately & confidently tell anyone what the overall condition the worlds economy will be in 2012 let alone a specific stocks value. Your logic is reminiscent of my own, markets have quite often been proven wrong in their assessment as they will always continue to do so on occasion because what some perceive to be THE MARKET is only in fact a group of people making decisions based on whatever facts or feelings they have or believe in at that time & quite frankly it is getting harder all the time to believe or make any decision based on what directors of companies state their position is, was or will be. Greed & deceipt have been allowed to become rampant in markets led all the way by example from our politicians, if it wasn't for the gut feeling one gets in time when dealing with many investments no-one would make any at this moment in time.
