re: one of the best miners around my understanding is...........the miners want a share of the profits................now most workers in the entire world would like to claim the same..........
but that is not how industry works, wages are that, negotiated for a fair price , the workers take no risk with their money, or the usual risks one takes in running a business
its actually laughable in my opinion...........bring in overseas workers who will do it cheaper..........plenty of them about.........and bhp has already made the profit for the year, so they cannot change that.........but suggest they not expecting as much next year..........
sorry the reasons for the strike is 'like pigs can fly', they do live on another continent, but there is a global consensus of how wages are determined, and its not based on profits because iron ore etc is up in prices,
did they want to take a cut in pay for all the years the prices were suppressed.......?
