I agree absolutely with your assessment. However, one must consider that context of your assessment is primarily one of morality.
The submission which I and others on this forum have placed before our parliamentary representatives questions legality.
If the question of legality is being ignored what hope does morality have?
The positive responses to this submission have only come from those representatives from the parliamentary right, and I am not aware of any positive response returning from the encumbent Federal Party, indeed a common response is "I can see what you mean, but I can't do much while we are in Opposition"
