Not having a stop loss cost me a fortune with BDG but HAVING a stop loss cost me potential fortune with GBG and PDN (GBG stopped out at 7.6 cents, PDN stopped out at 14.5 cents).
The next lesson for me is, even if you are stopped out and get thrown off the horse, if you believe in the horse get back on for another try.
Rogues, If you think of your trading career as being (say) three decades long how far down that road would you be?
My guess is you are not even be half way down the road so there is heaps of opportunity and time to hone your craft. One day, a couple of decades into the road, you will be a HOT HOT HOT trader but only because you made mistakes and learned from them.
You will make many millions over that time and the six figure loss you are referring to (whilst remaining a painful memory) will be justified as educational expense.
