I registered with US based Computershare online and used the holding number on my paperwork. I was sent that in the mail by Benitec. US Computershare then snail mails you a code to verify and finalise your membership. Mine took ages to arrive. My holding is as it should be. If you want to trade and not pay extra US tax, you need to fill in a tax form, which you can do online. You can ask Commsec or your broker to set you up with an international account as well if you want. Good luck.
