DMA CFD's are no different to any other trade if used sensibly. Lets say for example I usually make $10k sized trades on normal stocks, if I use a CFD to make the trade I simply scale back the amount I put down so that my overall position is still $10k, rather than being silly like some and using the leverage available to make a huge position ... so if I was buying/shorting BHP for example, I would probably put down $500 of my own money to make up a total position of $10k. Surely it's not rocket science to realise if you only have say a $100k bankroll that you wouldn't be taking single leveraged positions of $100k or more??????
