"He (Bill Paterson) reiterated Corum's focus on improving the current business and exploiting previously neglected opportunities in the pharmacy sector"

This has been the main strategy since Bill has taken over the Chairman's position. It should be starting to show some benefit in terms of improving revenue. This will be the catalyst to Corum gaining the respect of investors. In the mean time a quality acquisition or merger opportunity will be very welcome.

Interesting that he sees a share buy back only a "short term" perspective considering Lujeta is a majority shareholder and a buy back would increase his percentage holding in the company. I agree share buy backs can often have little short term effect on the share price (partly because of the restrictions) apart from being a prop. However, in the longer term with a rebound in company fortunes and value every one is incrementally better off. Share buy backs are of course of no value when a company is on a continued downward spiral which is not the case here.
