Speaking of chilli's, in the 70's my father in law visited us in Darwin, he's Italian and loves his chilli's.
I had these little suckers growing in my garden, they were as hot as you can get, I told him they were hot, the Italian in him surfaced..... "not that hot for me cock" was his reply, so I asked him to try one, he put the whole thing into his mouth and bit into it, then told me they were nothing. I was impressed, but about 20 seconds later he spat the chilli in his mouth a mile. "blasted thing" he said when he was able to talk .......
