wait a while....get a second opinion, even a third. some vets are absolute shonks. just because a dog is limping doesn’t mean he’s in severe pain., you’ll know it if he is in severe pain. a little pain is ok, probably better than trying to recover from an operation at his age and eho’s to say if it’s duccesdgul he’ll be pain free. humans put up with a little pain, it’s normal.
