OK, I've been on the Queensland Government site and read the 2014 CNQ Annual Report.
There are 4 tenements at Mt Carbine.
Exploration Permits EPM 14871 and EPM 14872. These are exploration permits and no map is included in the Annual Report, as far as I found, showing the boundaries of these tenements. The Government site lists Carbine Tungsten Limited as the 100 % owner of these two tenements, since 21 May 2014.
ML 4867 and ML 4919, which are Mining Leases, are shown on an aerial photo of the Mt Carbine area in the 2014 Annual Report. Mt Carbine Quarries Pty Ltd is listed as the 100 % owner of these Mining Leases.
The aerial photo in the Annual Report shows the open pit and the waste and tailings dumps left over from the former mining operation all falling within the boundaries of the two MLs, 4867 and 4919.
The following is copied from the latest quarterly report.
Carbine’s world class tungsten mine project at Mt Carbine continues as a focus point for the Company and activities to seek investment partners for the potential purchase of the quarry operation at the site have been ongoing. Some issues remain unresolved from the conciliation process conducted between the parties during January 2017 and these matters will need resolution prior to moving forward with any potential purchase options.
This is what the company is saying. Interpret it as you will, but, allow me to note that it is August now.
