Looking out for each other, dissemination of info, discussion between like-minded people, etc are benefits of such forums.

I have only heard about the ABN report so I don't know how much nickel pa they used.

Calcs are never 100% accurate. Calcs have many components, and the figure you put in should complement the style of investor you are (ie aggressive/conservative). Then the final figure will be most useful to you. For example, if an aggresive investor makes his calcs, his final number will not (or should not) be trusted by a conservative investor.

Some unknown factors for AGM are:
(1) potential recovery better than original estimate - I'm bouyed by the actual results (trial last year) being 20%+ better than estimate. Can you imagine what this means? 20% more nickel at no additional operation cost.
(2) further exploration success - IMO likely. AGM announced that summer (dry season) is the best time for exploration in Tassie. Hence, we should hear results in about 2-3 months time.
(3) price of nickel - IMO average of next 2 years will likely be USD30,000+.
(4) FX - big unknown, I'm leaving it in the too hard basket (for now).
