Did any of you guys hold Equinox (EQN) a few years back?  Whilst I'm not saying that Tiger is an Equinox (at the moment) I just think we need to be a bit patient (note that I'm definitely not a day trader).  I do see a few similarities in my experience...I tried to catch a falling knife during the GFC, bought EQN at $2.50 and it was under $1 a day or two later, I bought Tiger for 12.5c just before the big drop.  I also remember sitting at my desk and hitting refresh every two seconds and wondering why you could drive a truck between the share price of EQN and what is should be valued at based on fundamentals...sound familiar??  It was just plonking along but when it finally moved, it moved pretty hard and quick, we've just got to be patient...which I struggle with.

    and some things never change...

"Macquarie also dropped two stocks because of company specific issues. News Corp was cut over governance concerns and Equinox was removed because its high-risk acquisition strategy had left the balance sheet vulnerable to unexpected shocks." (this was written in early March 2011, the chart below where EQN starts the sudden rise is mid March/April 2011).
