It USED to be safe to buy a stock like this when it was being smashed after the ASX sent out a price query and management responded 'there is no reason'.
BUT clearly due very recent history that is not the case for MRM.
Even if they get a price query and they say 'no reason' like they did a few months ago, it does not mean something negative but not official/signed off/material is not happening behind the scenes.
I have been watching for a big volume day for over a year now (bigger than this) but as this drags out it is becoming increasingly likely that any such high volume day is a very risky proposition and a prelude to the banks sending round their boys with their sledgehammers for any exposed ankles that present.
Business is founded on trust and that extends to participation in a business as a shareholder. Once trust is shattered, it is almost impossible to rebuild.
