I'm wondering - If CNE's estimates come in at 330mmbbl (or more) and it's of "excellent" reservoir quality, could it be that the JV might be in a position to declare SNE1, commercial even without further appraisal and prepare SNE1 as a production well? See Tim's comment about platform issues and ability to get shelf quickly in production by 2016 if SNE1 is earmarked as a production well. I forgot who mentioned it (could be OdoubleO) who had "lunch" with someone and what he was able to glean from the discussion over lunch was that the "flows" was good. But I don't remember that CNE did any flow testing. Could it be that when they took samples with the D(something)-tool, that they might have been able to get a very strong indication of the "flow". Of course - I take it that flow-test has to run for a specific period but can it be that the indications/results are so overwhelming that they need not drill another appraisel well but just do further appraisal on SNE1 (thus making SNE1 a standalone project into which the Buried Hills can be tied into?
