i think there is a future here, peak oil is here, general motors public said they belive we are now in oil decline and will be focusing on electric cars.
now if you think about it, if everyone has electric cars that means everyone will be charging their cars every night in the power point
how many extra giga/mega watts of power extra are we going to need in the power grid to do that! wind mill / wave power will have no chance (Even now) and unless we burn more coal uranium is the only way to go..
gives me a funny thought.. know how you forget to charge your mobile and it doesnt work in the morning.. i can see an excuse in the future for not turning up to work "sorry boss i forgot to put my car on to charge last night, wont be in till tomorrow" lol
