One of my best memories as a kid was experiencing the Meckering (WA) earthquake in 1968. The power of this event intrigued me and made me realise there was a force waaaayyyyy stronger than my dads hand.

PS. Loved reading about all your fondest memories from all over Oz. I’ve lived in a lot of places and many of those mentioned here. Good to reminisce. Cheers.
