What about other government agencies. Centrelink has access to all your investment accounts so why not your medical history. What about the AFP under the pretence of national security. Everybody has private information in all areas of life that is supposed to be private but some how big business and government gets access to it. People doing people favours. Just look at the markets and insider trading that apears rampant.
opt out because at some point somebody will get access to my health data whether legally or illegally. Everything you say or type on your phone is now stored for access by AFP etc is another example.
what about this scenario . You're injured at work, insurance company X slips IT guy at medical centre Y some cash for your doctor's access code to MyHealth. IT guy gets a new pool or car and insurance companies get to sneak into any bodies records and saved millions. If you think these types of behaviors are not going to happen then don't open your eyes because you will get sand in them .
