Well I dont think ivermectin (which wasnt effective enough) nor potentially MPL would be a once in a lifetime treatment.
Im going on a wild assumption that people may be hit with viruses such as covid many many timea throughout their lives....and so a treatment would be required many times?
But yes im sure it was pfizer and co that prevented PAA going to human trials on covid, rather than perhaps an internal business decision around resource prioritisation, risk management etc...
