Goblin, you were the only person who attempted to rebut my argument.

Did you notice all the other bulls when posed with a logical argument against them, started making jokes and talking about everything and anything except fermiscan.

    That is bearish!

Goblin you can apply the same argument for why this test is not appropriate for older women to younger women, in fact it’s stronger.

As you said correctly mammograms aren’t useful for younger women, the alternative tests are Ultra-sounds, MRI’s and PET scans. You should do some research on these. They cost $400 plus and can take 1-2 hours to complete and can involve injecting radioactive substances into the blood stream. They have high false positive (ranging between 10-20%) and false negatives (ranging between 3-20%)

Now you mentioned surgery to find cancer, well first of all you have to locate were it possibly is before you start cutting someone open and since the fermiscan test doesn’t tell you thing about where the cancer is located you will have to rely on MRI’s, PET’s etc……
So again like before your going to have a problem with high false positives, which will cost the government serious dough and give potentially 1 in 5 women unnecessary surgery. I don’t know too many women, who would want to take this test if there was a 1 in 5 chance that it would result in unnecessary surgery….
The odds of a women getting breast cancer in any given year is 13,200/5,000,000 = 0.264%

This figure is even lower for younger women.
