imo, most of the Australian population cannot afford to save for their retirement & cannot afford to make voluntary superannuation contributions

yet those who can afford making contributions are being taxed 15% on their contribution

the government has realised the 15% supertax is just helping the wealthy and placing the taxation burden on the less wealthy

nothing stops anyone saving for their retirement at ordinary marginal tax rates
