You know, many of us are impacted by holding this stock. How you deal with it matters most. I was relieved when the stock was suspended (breathing space) and frankly it should have been on halt until the ruby sales were over and the entire market receive the announcement at one time.
You invested $35K into this, I am not sure what your total stock market exposure is and what percentage this stock constitutes. If you were all in versus say 7 x ($5000 different stocks) is your call, for all I know you have many $35K holdings, not sure. Thing is, this was highly speculative, extreme to me as there's no going price, one competitor, lack of history and experience yada yada yada .... so I took a punt too.
Over the weekend I put in a conditional double sell order for profit and loss.
Upon release of the ruby sales announcement (and stock still suspended from trading) I cancelled the conditional double sell order as clearly the profit lock is not going to happen, and the loss trigger could cement my losses to the extreme as it plummets to a potential bottomless market in execution.
So now, I consider this a long term hold. They've hopefully learned a very expensive lesson as have we all but nothing new to many of the experienced traders here over decades of debacles they've witnessed.
Your strategy is what matters, you can only play the cards you are dealt. Be wise.
