If Storm is serious he does indeed need serious help from a professional. I lost my closest friend to suicide a year ago and it is something I will never completley recover from. He too suffered some financial losses but nothing that was not able to be turned around and was certainly not someone anyone would have previously suspected of suicide. He was put on medication and stopped it against advise.
So any call for help needs to be acted on.
