About a cup or so of vinegar, I should have mention a good handful of salt to the boiling water
Note best to have frozen rather than fresh occy
My earlier efforts I boiled for to long, the suckers fell off as I cleaned it after boiling and after I had cooked it in the sauce the occy was just too tender. I have got it down pat and now occy is tender, suckers intact and occy still has a bit of chew
