A lot of things are not taught in schools . The younger generation as yiu say do not know how to do things. My growing up, my dad was a butcher and we occasionally had "offal" liver, or heart, my mum cooked pigs ears and pickled them... I with my family now have never cooked the foods just mentioned, so my kids probably wont. In my parents growing up nothing at all was wasted ...
