    NO the losers are not more accurate with history. The US lost its cause in Vietnam. It misunderstood that the Vietnam leadership just wanted a united country and was not being a stooge for Chinese expansion. US media does not mention:
    - up to 2.5 million Vietnamese killed,
    - the thousands of farmers with damaged limbs because of land mines,
    - farm land that is still unfertile because of herbicides with dioxin,
    - birth deformities from the chemicals,
    - napalm;
    - the My Lai massacre which was just one of many village massacres that were carried out.
    - Robert MacNamara saying that a Vietnamese citizen is better dead that red, and he encouraged a body tally count system that went awry. Some US soldiers kept necklaces of human right ears to confirm body counts.
    - Colin Powell a junior officer at the time was commissioned to do an "enquiry" into the massacres. He concluded there was no evidence in spite of many US veterans coming forward. OH that was the same Colin Powell who categorically stated that the US had categoric proof of weapons of mass destruction held by Sadam Hussein in Iraq. The same Colin Powell who later said that to his knowledge no such evidence of weapons of mass destruction ever existed.

    But be assured - next time no lies will be told because we are the "good guys", who only to go to war to help unfortunate poor countries (with mineral or agricultural resources) to battle the bad guys.
