From Newsats point of view perhaps Mauro but from a buyers perspective it is still too early. It is not 12 months Mauro, it is still AT LEAST 2 years away. Agreed 12 months from a CONFIRMED launch and they should be starting to get serious interest which is why I have always maintained form mid 2014 onwards.
Why would they lock in 2 years out [without a big carrot to help their decision]?
Not even any guarantee yet that it will fly. Nothing iron clad to say it will be end of 2015. Remember, it was supposed to launch 2012. Why would you decide yet when even Newsat aren't sure?
Also, why would you lock up valuable funds this far out. Somebody else may come along with a faster launch and even more favourable terms. We aren't alone.
Would most Companies even know yet if they need satellite capacity and how much 2 years in advance?
If I were a communications provider I would either need capacity now for a project and I would have to go elsewhere as Newsat are not ready, or even if I could predict a project 2 years out I would hold off to look at the various players and what they are offering first. Plenty of time from their perspective.
I am not worried about capacity. As has been said "build it and they will come"
We just need to convince everybody [investors, analysts, funds, bankers, etc.] that it really is going to happen. The rest will take care of itself.
