my opinion on acquistion announcement & th

Just thinking it through I would say that there would have to be an announcment by FER tmrw morning that they have signed an agreement in relation to an acquisition.

Why? you may ask.

Well share price rises sharply yesterday and ASX hits the company with a speeding ticket yesterday being 11/4/2012 stating that volume has increased and SP gone from 2c to intra day high of 2.5c.

I believe if no deal was to be signed within a day or two Fermiscans response would have been yesterday not today to the price query.

2. No. The Company is in negotiations with a third party in respect to a potential acquisition, which negotiations are yet to be finalised. If a binding agreement is entered into by the Company, an announcement will be made at such time as the Company has entered into that binding
agreement.
3. No.
4. I can confirm that the Company is in compliance with the listing rules and, in particular, listing rule 3.1.

Now what did Fermiscan do instead of responding yesterday to ASX price query with a response as shown above they asked for a trading halt.

If no deal was to be signed IMO they would have responded as above and traded as normal not ask for a trading halt.

Asking for a trading halt then responding to price query leads me to believe that an announcement about a signed agreement or LOI will be announced by FER tmrw.

I cannot see the sense of asking for trading halt instead of responding to ASX price query and continue trading as normal if positive news about an agreement will not be released tmre morning prior to lift, unless deal falls through last minute.

All IMO I think good news tmrw morning about acquisition.
