Chippy - sorry to say this - these people who happened to be your parents - do not deserve someone like you; - there is probably a reason for their behavior, but it has NOTHING to do with you.
As for your eye: I am no eye specialist, no specialist in anything really, but you should have this checked out properly by a specialist. Listen around first to find a good GP and then see, if anything can be done. Maybe just the right contact lens might help? I don't really know; this is a specialist's job; but check and double-check your doctor and then your eye specialist. If it costs money to fix, don't fret over it, do it.
Eyes are important, they are our first point of contact with everyone we meet - it is often difficult for me, too, to focus on someone who has an eye out of alignment - it needs fixing if it is at all possible, if not, maybe wear 'shades' when out and about and you've probably got a tan, so you would look 'cool' already, anyway; shades might complete that 'look'.

So maybe all you need is a contact lens for the bad eye? Maybe you are wearing one already.

I believe something should be done, because some of those sites say that eyesight also happens in the brain and if you favour one side, over a period of time you will lose more and more sight in the lazy eye.
