I had a very interesting phone call from Jonathon Fievez the CEO late this afternoon. In the past, I had been advised that I was in the top 75 share holders. To my surprise, I am now in the top 30 share holders.
What it really boils down to, if the top 30 share holders commit to the Capital Raising, they will achieve their objective in raising the necessary funds for CCE to be recapitalised as many of the larger share holders are looking at taking upm the shortfall.
From my perspective this is very positive and a vote of confidence in the new direction of CCE.
Furthermore, there will be a supplementary prospectus issued early next week. both electronically and by snail mail.
I was also reassured that the recent ASX nomination of unfinancial members was not an issue with the ASX as CCE is restrained by the Administrators from paying invoices while CCE are under Administration and the ASX is fully aware of this constraint.
As a result of a very positive discussion with Jonathon Fievez, I plan to not only take up the full offer, I will also participate in the shortfall.
