16 October 2007: John Houston, CEO of Entertainment Media & Telecoms Corporation Limited ("EMT"), announced to the Australian Stock Exchange the appointment of Dan Dumitrescu as CEO of the Company's Mobile Application Development and Consulting Services subsidiary - Sapio AB ("Sapio"). "We are very pleased with Dan's appointment, he brings many years of Senior Management and Sales experience to our Mobile Application Development practice. Dan is truly one of the leaders in the IT industry and EMT is very fortunate to have secured his services to head up Sapio" said John Houston. EMT's Sapio practice is a world leader in the field of Mobile Application Development, with activities within Europe based out of Stockholm, Sweden and Asia based out of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Dan will be based in Stockholm where Sapio has its historical base, and will also lead the Application Development and Consulting team in EMT's new operation in Kuala Lumpur. Prior to this appointment, Dan was located in San Francisco where he led the Global Technology Practice for Edward W Kelley & Partners, a global executive search firm. In that role, Dan also provided board services, executive search and management consulting expertise in the broad Information Technology Industry. Dan's 12 years of executive search experience has included the role of Managing Director of Korn/Ferry Australia, Head of Korn/Ferry's Technology Practice in Asia Pacific and CEO of Highland Partners in Asia Pacific. Prior to this, Dan spent 14 years with Wang Australia, serving as Managing Director in his last three years. He was a pioneer in leading edge Technology projects including early voice-recognition and workflow software. Dan has a Masters of Computer Science from the University of Grenoble, France and his further business studies at Macquarie University and the University of Melbourne have complemented his leadership skills. Prior to leaving Australia, Dan was a Councilor of the Australia Business Arts Foundation, and a Governor of the American Chamber of Commerce
