    If TLW withdraws under the situation you mentioned then they will have to pay the penalty I imagine, 120mil is a lot of money, that certainly will solve HDR's money problem for a while, so that's unlikely.

    I think from that respect, TLW is really locked into the t/o.

    Seeing that they were prepared to have the penalty clause in, then i suspect that they really wanted HDR. I also think that they really are prepared to up the price as well. No smart businessman will expect that you get it on the first offer, regardless how difficult you make it for the others to come in.

    Also lets look at it this way, if TLW wants HDR, it must be able to see value in it. If TLW can see value in it, then there are a lot of others, just as savy as TLW and a lot of bigger ones, must view it the same way.

    Day 4 is still early times. Give it another fortnight at least. 1.4b decision would be more than a 4 day job.

    Talking about a blocking stake, how about those that took up the placement. They won't be very happy! Well, thats 10% straight away.
