If you think Mikaj is someone to listen two then best of luck. Two years ago he was high by nearly 3x. He was 2X high on Q4. He was high on Earnings for 2021 by a lot. As recently as this summer he thought EBIT came out with Q reports. He has never explained why he thinks EBIT &DA are better than profits. IT &DA have to be paid. They are subtracted from book value and profits. I have explained to him why they are used in M&A activity and that is what they are used for. He has never said why he thinks they are better. I think he just likes them because they are bigger numbers and makes predictions look better. Is this a good reason?

He/she wasn't talking about profits in those posts. Went through approx %age allocation for costs as could be determined and again made approximations as to how they may change in what I thought was a reasonable and logical way. Not saying it is correct, too many unknowns to any of us. But well thought out to give a general idea of where costs would be increasing or decreasing. Thing is, some costs will decrease not just increase due to higher wages/power/chemical costs in WA.
