Your point about poor management may be valid but I don't think the business model is any different to more successful franchise businesses like dominos. Sadly the whole industry has a wage problem which results in poor returns to the franchises.
RFG was cherry picked by a presumably vindictive newsperson when the same model is rampant in practically the while franchising industry.
I feel it will take some time probably a year before RFG will come back up provided the management stays sane. The business is still worthy and not different to 2 years back when it was trading at all time highs
