Interest rates to decrease? Maybe the RBA will drop rates (though that won't happen), but the banks will have to keep them rising. Debt is getting harder and harder to finance. Some of the things that will start to influence access to money for Aussie banks coming up include the dropping of the govt's AAA backing, and the govt's guarentee of bank deposits.
New big stimulus packages and lower interest rates just can't last together for too much longer.
