The GCL agreement is to get 4 x gassifiers online, the first within 6 months from signing the agreement. The other 3 could be on line in less than 6 months after that.

On the other hand Velocys is quoting delivery of 18 months after order placement for a GTL plant, plus construction time. So a 5000bpd GTL plant is not going to be ready when these 4 gassifiers are line.

I suspect these 4 gassifiers will be used to test the coal beds, confirm the production capability, and the gas from these wells will be used in the short term for other uses, power, heat etc. Or alternatively a smaller GTL plant would be trialed, somewhere in the 1000 to 2000 bpd plant range, but I must admit PB is focused on his 5000 bpd number.

We will have to be patient on this one, but remember PB loves to make things sound as though they will happen much quicker than they do in reality so be prepared to wait awhile.
