I'd have thought that my own posts had shown far less personal connection than someone such as redbar for example when he was writing on this board. I hadn't noticed people get upset by his writing however. I don't know whether Nick was selective in who he responded to but I always thought he liked to connect with shareholders - but in that vein not otherwise. I have never regarded the emails as anything other than that. I certainly didn't ever regard myself as a mouthpiece though others may have seen it that way. As I have mentioned a few times most people who know me would regard the idea of me subsuming my own judgment to be pretty amusing.

I do understand that people would have noticed a shift in how I feel about some things and they may have questioned that.

I think that change in my perspective comes from doing research. I can't help myself - nothing sends you back to sleep at 2am better than checking out things on the internet. It's actually quite amazing what is available in the public domain if you know how to look. Must be the scientists who were my parents (both of them) who taught me how to research.

As I acquire information my views may shift - or not. For all I have disliked the way the trolls wrote on hotcopper I felt I needed to pay attention and sort fact from fiction.

Information also comes from a range of sources. There has been a pretty consistent pattern and that merits investigation. Everyone could do that if they choose.

Hey I might be wrong this time too. But my current views are the best I can do for now - until I get more information. Isn't that the nature of life?

Furthermore - to respond to canonman - I thought that missing the target last year was a major concern. It's important to me to try and understand who might have driven that and why. Combine that with the director remuneration - which I still regard as excessive for a small company yet to turn a profit - and we have a situation that, in my view, requires some sort of analysis. Simple as that.

At the moment I am happy to see a changing of the guard. Will that change - well if I see reason to of course it will. Right now though - as I have said on every other recent post this is not about the operations. It is not about the underlying potential and fundamentals of the business. I am more than happy if growth takes a little pause while we get margins right.

Whenever i have emailed NC he always had the courtesy in replying and for that matter Dirk also......There is and was never anything written or spoken that could contravene in anyway insider information.

If i am dubious in regards to released annmnt's I get the facts from the horses mouth, so to speak and certainly not from jas or boc or the rest of the trolls...
