Got any other stories about the animal life?

One night I was wondering just how bloody big the possum on my roof was so I walked out the back and looked. There was this agile wallaby on the very peak of the roof, silhouetted against the skyline.

Generally though the kindest thing to say about the bush out the back is that it is scrub. During the dry skippy kept my lawn mowed and one morn we had a six footer in the yard. My terrier chased it though. :)
