I'll make a correction before anybody else picks it up.

I seem to have been mentioning 30,000 SUS's per unit per year.

This was out by an order of magnitude, it should have been 3,000 per year. However, field notes from China & Sri Lanka indicate 15,000 per year (as per p19 Polartechnics Corporate Briefing – November AGM 2008).

Therefore, my estimate of 16c or less per SUS to write off the cost of the TruScreen unit in the first year were a little too ambitious ... try between 33c to $1.66 AUS in 1 year, or 11c to 55c per test in 3 years. Still a bargain!
