And people say the right isn't compassionate. This is real compassion. I think we should go even further and let in 1 million refugees a year. 13,000 currently is just not compassionate enough. Anything under 100,000 is just a token gesture.
But first, let me buy a house in Toorak so I won't have to deal with any of these refugees, and can sip Chardonnay and Latte's all day long. But I will feel better and sleep easier at night knowing I've made society a better place for everyone living in the inner city.
